About connections:
You must take full responsibility for the connections you choose. The airlines do not know about connections you make and they do not facilitate transit of you or your luggage. Airlines are not responsible for missed flights.
Allow plenty of time for transit:
Allow enough time to pick up your luggage at each stop and check in for the next onward flight. Incoming flights may be delayed. Allow time for disembarking, walk from gate, wait for luggage, passport control, terminal change, check in, security check and the walk to departure gate.
Reduce risk of sell-out:
When you book a trip involving two or more airlines there is a risk that while you book one flight the other flight may sell out. This risk will be reduced if you complete stage one of the booking phase for both airlines before moving on to stage two etc.
